In his consulting project with the Palau Financial Institutions Commission (FIC), Jonah Nascimento focused on enhancing the efficiency of the bank license application process. Established in 2002, the FIC operates with a mission to maintain a regulatory framework that fosters a stable financial sector. The current application process was outdated and inefficient, requiring applicants to submit various forms through different methods, leading to delays and confusion. Jonah identified this issue and proposed the implementation of JotForm, a form-building software that integrates into the existing FIC website. This solution allows applicants to submit their information securely and conveniently, reducing the time spent gathering resources and minimizing manual labor associated with document processing.
