One of several things to anticipate from coming to work at MOE in the morning is the morning treats.

Employees here at MOE bring homemade snacks in the morning and share with us. The director himself visits us several times a week and brings us snacks. But what’s more exciting is finding surprise treats on our desk in the morning. We walk in the office and find cute little bananas, Palauan apple, or other treats from the director on each of our desk.

And this morning, it’s banana bread! =D

Me and Edmund we both really like the director and also everyone else in the office. We’ve had a privilege to work so closely with the management team. And it’s really amazing to see their strong interest and concern for the schools in Palau and education. During the presentation for the project approval, division heads brought up some issues at Palau High School. I was just really impressed by how well the management team knew about the detail process and their desires to tackle those challenges that Palau High School students, teachers, and the administrators face.

Cool, cool…
